There is a God, How much proof do you need?
Well I havent written anything in a while so I figured I would do the update. :) This week has been a rough ride for me but God is good through everything we have to walk through. I have noticed this week that when you are trying your hardest to be nice or do right that is when everything seems to fall apart. I knew that before this week but it has really became clear this week. I woke up thinking this morning how in the world do people survive in this world without the love and mercy of God. I truly believe if I did not have the relationship with God that I have, I would be in a totally different place than I am today. I have also realized that I have special people in my life that are going through things that God has already walked me through so that I can reach out and help them in there time of need. Thats really all I want to do is be here for other people and help them through whatever they need. I believe with my whole heart that god has been here with me through my whole life to let me help others that maybe do not know how to cope and rely on God as there provider and even those that do rely on him to strengthen and encourage them that in the end all things work out for the good of those who love him. My favorite scripture is 1 cor. 13:13 these three remain faith hope and love but the greatest is love. Love is the answer to every question if you dont have love you have nothing and that is what this world is looking for someone to love and encourage them in all things, through the storms of life. Love and encourage someone in your life today, it will make a difference.

Hold on tight..Dont let GO.
Well today has been an amazing day.. I love it when God places people on your path to encourage. I was able to be with my best friend since 6th grade today and just talk about life.. and how far we have been together.. the good and the not soo good times. And it made me think.. about alot of things... how much we change as we grow up and the friends that we gain, loose, and those that just fall off the map some for the best. I have matured more in the past year than I ever have. And I have come to realize that some people take for granted the great families and friends that they are surrounded with. I believe that we overlook some of Gods greatest blessings in our life, maybe not intentionally, but we need someone to remind us of them... I have been blessed with soo many great people in my life to help and encourage me through anything and I know for a fact that it is not by mistake, God placed people in my life for such a time as this. Like I said some friends and sometimes even family, come and go... but our God is the only one who is always here and someone we can always depend on... he sees us at our worst and at our best and loves both sides of the true us. God will never leave you nor forsake you he is everlasting and loves us more than we will ever know and sends us blessings everyday it could be a friend, a family member, or something that makes you smile. Get lost in his blessings. :)

The Love of God
Well I have missed a couple of days and it has been a crazy weekend. I graduated yesterday from Cookeville High School, and then Project Grad from 10-6 this morning. I had every intention of waking up at 7:30 and going to first service but that was just not happening. I just wanted to encourage you all today that God can see you through any circumstance and he lovess you sooooo much. If we could ever grasp his love, we all would be filled with sooo much joy. Discover gods love for you today...tomorrow... and forever.

I Think We Made A Wrong Turn...?
Well this week has been one crazy week, my grandfathers nephew died on Sunday so we have been going through the visitation/funeral steps this week, along with all of the Graduation crazyness this week, and Graduation Practice in the morning. All of the tradgedies that have been happening around our world in just the past month have really made me start thinking. The Flood in Nashville, The Oil Spill, The shooting in Algood yesterday because of a racial slurr, and the many many other actions being displayed. Last night our youth group studied Luke 9:23-27. The verse that really just caught my attention and made me think was --Your not in the drivers seat---I AM. Don't run from suffering, EMBRACE IT. Follow me and I will show you how. SELF HELP... is no help at all...Self sacrifice is the way...my way. to finding yourself..the real you. The main points of this is that we try soo hard to run our life the way we want to run it, do the things we want to do, go the places we want to go.. and many other things, when God, if we proclaim to be a Christian, is meant to be in the drivers seat or top priority/control of our everyday life...Quite honestly if we try to run our own life all we do is completley run it into the ground and end up in a hole that we just dig further and further down into. The second part of this scripture is just simply saying that we do not need to run from our suffering or problems but embrace them, not by ourselves, but with Gods help... he teaches us how to deal with the suffering and low-times in life with his help. We can try as much as we want to try and fix ourselves but we have to become dependent on God, sometimes it takes us hitting rock bottom and having no where else to go and nothing else to help us, to actually realize that we do need help, I have seen this happen with soo many of my friends and even my family... they try to run their own lives with only their wants and their ideas... and eventually they have all hit rock bottom. God doesnt want us at rock bottom but I believe with my whole heart that if you have to be put there, he will let it happen to make you realize how much you really do need him. Our God knows what we need, who we need, and when we need it. We have to let him in the drivers seat..Life works a whole lot better this way.

How do you run? Are you a WINNER?
Well here goes another blogging site..My name is Priscilla Choate, some people just call me Choate, I was an early grad. senior at Cookeville High School this year and started my wonderful journey to Tennessee Tech this past Fall for a Nursing degree, something I feel God told me I needed to do, with a minor in Counseling to come after. Last night we had a bacc. service for all 2010 Senior at ATMS, the speaker talked about being a winner and the steps it takes to be a winner, You have to RUN. You have to want to win the race and do everything in your power to make it. We are not talking about a race in life, yet you do run it in life, we are talking about a race you run in order to see our heavenly father. He talked about how when you are running your race, you do have people watching you. He said "some will join the race because of the way you run." This means that us "Christians"--people are watching us, like a clock, all day long. When we have a tragedy happen in our workplace, our school, our friends, and yes...even our family... people are watching how we react to our situation.. He added that "You never know who will join the race(God's Kingdom) because of the way you run in your most desperate times." People are looking for strength and someone who can be real and know that at the end everything is going to be okay, they are looking for someone stable and able to cope with not only their problems but help carry some of theirs. They need compassion and love, strength and encouragement. Im not saying everyday you are going to feel like being the strong person, we all know thats not true, and by no means are we perfect, im just saying watch how you run your race because it can and will affect others. Some of us and im including myself, have been so caught up in graduation, college, jobs, kids...and many other life contributions that we have started walking, stopped, or maybe sat down in our race...and we need to get up because we have people watching us, and its not only affecting them but its affecting us also. We are missing out on the grace and love that our father has for us each and every morning. Just a little encouragement for your day. More to come. These three remain faith, hope, and love but the greatest of these is love. -1 Cor. 13:13.
